In this series, I want to capture the essence of repose (rest) as an integral part of life. It’s a visual ode to the moments of stillness that anchor our lives amidst the relentless tide of activity.
Movement juxtaposed with rest, like the eb and flow of breathing.
The women depicted are shown in moments of repose, surrounded by vibrant colours and marks that represent the complexity and beauty of life and human emotions.
Through this series, I hope to convey that in the midst of life’s chaos, these moments of rest are a soothing balm—a gentle reminder to embrace the quiet that sustains and nourishes the soul.
