Her message: you are Divine. 😊 This kind of art is a many steps process. First layer is collage. This one was bright ultramarine blue throughout. Second, painting women faces and hands. Third, seeing how their dresses can emerge out of collage. Fourth, deciding what needs to be covered up completely, what should be partially overpainted and what will remain as is, that is a slow stage. Fifth, painting patterns, flowers and details. Six, emphasizing contrasts and working on depth/ perspective. Seven, balancing out calm and busy areas. Eight, bringing in the light!
